WATER-BASED POLYMER DISPERSIONS - OSAKRYL®, WINACET®, WOODMAX®
Water-based polymer dispersion is a heterogeneous system in which particles of acrylic, styrene-acrylic, vinyl-acetate, butadiene-styrene or other polymers are dispersed in water and stabilized by means of surface-active agents, thickeners and other additives. Water-based polymer dispersions act as a binder in paints, lacquers, varnishes, mastics, plasters and waterproofing masses, primers and other construction systems.
Among the manufacturers of water-based polymer dispersions, the international chemical company, Synthos S.A. (http://www.synthosgroup.com) (formerly known as Dwory S.A., since 1945 to 2008) takes a leading position in the European and Ukrainian market. Dispersions for paints, lacquers and adhesives under the trademarks of Osakryl®, Winacet®, Woodmax® are well-known to Ukrainian paint-producers and entrepreneurs. Known are these trademarks not only as high quality dispersions, but also due to a better economy and lower prime cost of the paint and lacquer end-products manufactured with the use of these dispersions.
Thanks to the proximity of the Synthos S.A. production facilities (~300 km from the Ukrainian border) – a consumer of Osakryl®, Winacet® and Woodmax® dispersions obtains significant savings at transporting the dispersions. This allows Ukrainian producers of paints, adhesives and other water-based systems to get much lower cost of manufacturing their own products. That explains the success of our customers at paint and varnish market, where stiff competition reigns.
In practice, the price difference of even less than one percent often leaves the paint product of more expensive competitors on the shelves of supermarkets to wait for better times. The manufacturers, who neglect the best quality and prime cost, simply disappear from the market. In order to get the customer’s decision in favour of your paint and lacquer products, the decision supported with his money, you are to know and remember the most successful dispersions of Synthos S.A.
