Hydroxyethyl cellulose ethers are easily dispersible in cold water and used as water retention additives, thickeners, stabilizers of fillers and binder in water based formulations. It can be used as dispersing agent, emulsifiers and plasticizers in the building industry, production of dry mixes, water paints, and lacquers.
